The “Pallikoodam” movement, which offers free education to everyone at schools tied to every parish church in Kerala, was started by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara. The Saints’ contributions towards education established a solid foundation for a just society where everyone was deserving of knowledge, justice, respect, and dignity. The educational history of the state of Kerala had a newfound dawn because to Chavara’s reform. The educational vision of St. Chavara comprises inclusivity, growth and equity, excellence, and a wider picture.
